7th Annual China Town Hall  –  U.S. & China Relations

7:00 – 9:00 pm, Aiken Hall, Morgan Room

Live webcast with Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright

Local Speaker:  Associate Professor, Craig Pepin will talk on “Education & Authority in Modern China” following the webcast.

6:30 pm  – Come early and meet with our Chinese students.  Tea will be served.

Tuesday, Oct. 29

International Round Table

3:00 pm, Hauke Conference Room

Who is Simon Bolivar?  What is Nahuati?  Where is Teotihuacan?  Come find out! Ciaran Buckley, visiting instructor from Ireland will host this lively round table discussion on world affairs.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

One World Festival

12:30 – 3:30 pm, Hauke Conference Room

Office of International Education & CCA Cultural Community Alliance hosts this celebration of global education.

Students will showcase international culture, study abroad, foreign internships, service learning and faculty-led travel experiences through displays, food & music.  Learn to write your name in another language.  Door Prizes!

Voices of Jordanian Women: Speaking the Unspeakable

This presentation & discussion will address the current initiatives by young Jordanian women to combat violence against them.  Dessert will be provided.
