This Thursday evening, December 5, beginning at 7:30 P.M. in the Historic Conference Room of Roger H. Perry Hall, Champlain College’s incomparable senior class poets–plus a few faculty types–will offer a short reception, followed by a reading to celebrate the opening of archivist Erica Donnis’ new exhibit about Burlington’s own Poets Mimeo Cooperative.
The exhibit features selections of the group’s self-published, mimeographed publications from Champlain’s Llewellyn Collection of Vermont History, the Fletcher Free Library, and members’ private collections. Highlighted are several poems referencing local landmarks, along with images and descriptions of the landmarks. The exhibit will be on display from December to March.
This event is FREE, absolutely everyone is very cordially welcome, and copious ambrosial refreshments will be served.
