Changes made to our ADA academic accommodations process and tools, which will launch this fall. The Counseling and Accommodations Services Office has been busy this summer reviewing and responding to the feedback you provided during our session at the May Collaborative. The big news is that you will be informed via email about all required accommodations directly! Students will still be responsible for arranging an appointment with you to discuss their needs. If any accommodations are approved for any of your students, you will be in the know directly.

-Interactive Electronic Academic Accommodations Forms
-Q & A Hours set aside for instructors every week of the semester
- Mondays 3:00 -4:00 PM (802-651-5847)
- Wednesdays 8:30 -9:30 AM (802-865-5484)
-Accommodations written with greater attention to course requisites
-Increased support for finding Note takers and setting up electronic communications
-Greater transparency with student expectations for implementing academic accommodations
-Time-limited, specific expectations for extended time on assignments
-Students encouraged to attend academic coaching workshops that address skill development (e.g., notetaking workshops, SmartPen workshops, time management Workshops) in tandem with use of academic accommodations
